At the Altoona District Convention in
August, we will conduct the Foundation’s annual “Parade of
Love” at the Foundations Breakfast. This is an opportunity for
District clubs and individuals to personally present their gifts for
the Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation. I invite you to present your
club PKF gift at that time.
What difference do these gifts make?
Imagine that you are a parent of a
child with a possible heart problem and you live in a remote part
of Pennsylvania. Local pediatric echocardiology clinics funded by
hospital/PKF partnerships are there to help.
Imagine the difference PKF scholarships
make for promising high school seniors to help fund their education
and pursue their dreams for service to our communities in the
future.
Imagine how our investment in
developing young leaders through the Key Leader program and Circle
K will make for a stronger Kiwanis family in the years to come.
I hope to see you in Altoona and thank
you on behalf of all those served through the Pennsylvania Kiwanis
Foundation.

Are you ready? Are you sure?
The 2008 PA Kiwanis Foundation Rose Sale is getting in gear once again. We have secured the roses for you. Multi-colored roses that are simply beautiful! Last year was a wonderful year for the roses and the delivery. Be sure your club has chosen a Rose Sale Coordinator, and get their name to the division coordinator.
Rose Sale 2008 has good things for you!
